there will be no word requirement for the check-ins.
rules
• all fics must contain markren as the main characters and pairing, however side ships of any pairing are allowed.
• nsfw fics are allowed, however minors will not be allowed to prompt or write nsfw content. both mods are adults, so as a precaution, we will be asking all prompters and claimants to identify their age in the forms.
• the minimum word count for fics is 1000 words. we will have two check-ins during the writing period, but neither have a minimum word count required.
• chaptered fics and one-shots are accepted! chaptered fics only need to meet the word count, they don't need to be completed at the time of submissions.
• fics that contain heavy and/or triggering themes must be appropriately tagged. fics containing non-con, dub-con, incest and sexualization of minors are strictly prohibited.
• this fest is run anonymously, which means your writing must remain anonymous until reveals. prompters, we ask you to remain anonymous until postings!
• an ao3 account is a must to participate in this fest. please dm us if you need help with setting up an account. further details on how to post will be released closer to submissions.
• please do not ghost or ignore the mods. if an extension is required for check-ins or submissions, or you need to drop out for any reason, please let us know! we understand circumstances change.

• can i self prompt?
absolutely! this fest will have a self-prompting form open alongside our claiming form.
• can i both prompt and write for the fest?
yes, of course! you're absolutely allowed to send in prompts and write for the fest. additionally, you don't have to be a writer for the fest to send in prompts!
• can i send in more than one prompt?
absolutely! we encourage as many prompts as possible.more questions will be added if more arise! if you have any questions not on this page, feel free to send us a cc and we'll answer it for you! <3
